Hello do-gooders!

So I am still trying to get things figured out (forgive me!), but there will be progress this week for sure. For now I wanted to give you all an update on the great results that the (RED) Starbucks intiative is having. Through Starbucks alone, they have sold enough drinks to buy 8,821 days of medicine!! It is awesome the kind of change that we are bringing to people in need just buy choosing one drink over the other. The newest movement Starbucks has launched is a new reloadable (RED) card, which with every use donates $.05 to the Global Fund. To learn more about the Starbucks program and the (RED) cards go to:
Keep up the good work, and watch for an email about the next meeting!!

Welcome Back!!

Hey Guys!

Hope spring semester is starting off well for all of you, I apologize that I have not posted anything until now! It has been a crazy couple of weeks, I have been crashing classes and trying to get back into the school rhythym (as I am sure you are all experiencing as well!). I have been talking to SACL (Student Acitivites and Campus Life) and working on getting our new permit to table in the spring semester as well as working on finding a new place for meetings. Until I can figure out where that new location will be, I have no information as to when meetings will pick back up but I will make sure to e-mail you all when I know for sure. Thanks for being patient with me!

In the meantime, check out these cool videos that I found on the (RED) blog. The first one features Gisele Bundchen, who worked with Elle magazines across the world to get the word about (RED) out there. The second video is about the Vail Film Festival, a supporter of (RED), the founders Scott and Sean Cross talk about the festival and why they believe in (RED) so much:

If you want more info on the Vail Film Festival please visit: http://www.vailfilmfestival.org/submissions.shtml or the (RED) Blog

As always please feel free to e-mail with anything!! sdsugoesred@live.com

Hope all is well!
